Rebranding Tool/Affiliate Marketing
| posted by Lois Carter FayIn the past few months I have been approached a couple of times with the opportunity to "rebrand" free ebooks that contain affiliate links, thereby allowing me to put my affiiliate links in the ebooks to make commissions from products sold when I send these ebooks to my customers. My understanding is that this only works if the affiliate programs are two-tier programs (meaning I would get a commission, as would the person who originally sent me the ebook if anyone purchased anything as a result of reading the ebook).
Although I have not yet participated in a joint venture like this, I think this is a very clever marketing maneuver.
Yanik Silver and Jim Edwards have a joint program like this at their Viral Ebook Creator site. It's not as elaborate at the other rebranding opportunities that have been sent to me, but they were well ahead of the other marketers on this one. I suggest you take a look at their site to see if this might work for you and your affiliate program. (And, no...I didn't put my affiliate links in the links I created here.)
