Home Office - Day 4

I'm doing it again. Staring down my big to-do list and all I can do is clean my room.
I did this in college. When I'd sit down to write a paper. I'd have to straighten up my desk, fold all my clothing, etc etc. When it was all clean, there was nothing else to do but the task at hand.
It clears my head. Time elapses. Something about being closer to the deadline lights a fire under my bum. I loved the challenge and adrenaline of getting 5 page papers done in an hour. It's misleading, I actually worked on that paper for weeks. I did all this foot work: tidying up my notes, rearranging them (like furniture). In a way, cleaning my room gets me into that mindset where everything is in its place.
