Trump'd II

| posted by Heath Row

The Daily News reports that the Donald has doubled down in terms of his salary for the Apprentice. Previously earning $50,000 per episode, Trump will now thump a full $100,000 each program. It seems to me that Trump's appearance on the show has given him a renewed relevance in the public mind -- should that be payment enough? Or should the Don make bigger bank for his role in the show? Take the Fast Company poll.

$100,000 per episode? Not bad for two words "You're Fired!" (3 if you count the contraction!)

To think that it is possible to get $1M per episode (e.g. Friends) that the Trumpster has finagled himself a raise for a very successful show shouldn't be a surprise. Should he instead be happy with his increased relevance? And let the additional money stay within the Production and TV companies? Well, that's just silly. It isn't as if the money he would pass up would go to charity. So, I say to Donald, is $100K all you could get? I thought you were the deal maker.
