There is an unfortunately large group of folks who seem to believe the mantra "perception is reality"... I'm sorry, but as Sun Tsu said 'the map is not the territory'. If you are incapable of detecting differences between perception and reality, God help you and those around you. Form is function? Try explaining that to a baseball, an orange and a globe.
